2027 is looking like a great year of riding for us here at Borne Cycling.
We’ve built out some great new tours, added a couple of alpine training camps, and we also welcome the UCI World Championships to our region. Read on for dates and details of what we’ve got in store. Full details on all the tours will be up in September, but if anything catches your eye and you want more details, don’t hesitate to get in touch. And don’t forget that can organise a bespoke tour for you if any of these dates don’t work.

French Alps Training Camps
April 24th – May 16th 2027

Want to steal a march on your riding buddies next season? Feel like testing the legs on some classic Tour de France climbs? Come get some serious distance and elevation on our French Alps Training camp. We’re based in Samoëns at the foot of the magnificent Col de Joux Plane from where we can reach 5 Haut Category climbs within 45 mins from the front door of our accommodation. Join a guided ride everyday or simply do your own thing. Stay for a couple of nights or the full 3 weeks.
Nove Colli Gran Fondo Week
May 19th – 24th 2027
Accommodation: Half-board Hotel
Where: Cesenatico
The Nove Colli is Italy’s oldest and most famous mass-participation cycling granfondo. It starts and ends in the coastal town of Cesenatico on the Adriatic Sea. Founded in 1971, its name (“Nine Hills”) comes from the challenging mountain route through the Apennine hills. Our week there includes a number of preparatory rides to ensure you’re perfectly prepared for the event. Your trip with us includes guaranteed entry to the Gran Fondo and half-board hotel accommodation. You can also choose from 3 different parcours:
Long Route: 200 km with 3,814 meters of elevation gain across nine distinct climbs.
Medium Route: 137 km with 1,872 meters of elevation gain covering the first four hills.
Gravel Route: 107 km with 1,798 meters of elevation gain on mixed terrain.

Women’s Ventoux Discovery Tour
May 25th – 30th 2027

Conquer the Giant of Provence with Borne Cycling. This women’s only cycling tour encompasses five days of wonderful Provencal cycling, including 2 different routes up to the summit of Mont Ventoux. The rides are planned to challenge you on some of the best roads in the area. But they’re also designed to give you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the bars and restaurants of Malaucene. Along with riding twice up Mont Ventoux you will also explore the Gorges de la Nesque and ride a tour around the base of the “Bald Mountain”
Mont Ventoux Gran Fondo Week
June 2nd – 7th 2027

Where: Malaucene
The route of the Gran Fondo Ventoux follows beautiful roads, in a dream setting. You will pass through small typical Provençal villages, fields of lavender in bloom, the fabulous “Gorges de La Nesque” and typical vineyards of Ventoux. And of course one of the most beautiful arrivals in the world with the summit of Mont Ventoux. There are a choice of 3 routes and if you’re feeling really strong you can ride one of the gravel routes the day before the main Gran Fondo. Our week in Provence gives you the perfect opportunity to get to know the roads, and enjoy the region before the excitement of the big day.

Maratona dles Dolomites
June 29th – July 5th 2027

The Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel is Italy’s most beautiful cycling sportive and the 8,000 places sell out in seconds every year. Borne Cycling is one of the select official tour operators for the 2026 Maratona dles Dolomites and have guaranteed entry. Our Maratona dles Dolomites cycling holiday includes warm up rides to get you fully ready for the big day. The 40th edition in 2027 will be our 15th year at the event. The epic 138km course takes participants over five 2,000m+ passes steeped in Giro d’Italia history including the mythical Passo Giau.
Bormio, the Passo Stelvio and Gavia
July 5th – 10th 2027

Where: Bormio
Come ride one of the world’s most famous cycling climbs – the Stelvio Pass – and do it twice in one day! But this week is so much more than this one iconic climb. We’ll ride the evil Mortirolo, the mighty Gavia, the beautiful Torre di Fraele, and pretty much every single other climb coming out of the town of Bormio. And also we’ll have time to relax and enjoy the spa hotel, recover with our sports massages, and explore the beautiful town of Bormio. This tour can be added on to the Maratona week or taken as a stand alone trip.

Classic Climbs of the Tour de France (north to south)
July 17th – 24th 2027
Accommodation: B&B Hotel
Where: Start Samoëns – Finish Alpe d’Huez
11 Tour de France classic climbs in 6 days of riding. Start in the northern alps with the Joux Plane and Colombière on day 1. Then take on the Aravis and Madeleine followed by the Croix de Fer and Lacets de Montvernier. You’ll next ride over the Telegraphe and Galibier to the foot of Alpe d’Huez. The final two days will feature climbing the classic 21 hairpins of the Alpe, and the stunning quiet road of the Sarenne. If you’ve ever wanted to tick off a whole load of bucket list climbs, this tour is for you.
Classic Climbs of the Tour de France (south to north)
July 24th – 31st 2027
Accommodation: B&B Hotel
Where: Start Alpe d’Huez – Finish Samoëns
We head south to north on this classic climbs of the Tour de France holiday. Starting with Sarenne and Alpe d’Huez, we then head north over the Col de Glandon and take on the Telegraphe. The following day we ride one (or both) sides of the mighty Col de Galibier (we call it an active rest day). Continuing north we take on the Madeleine via the Lacets de Montvernier and our final day sees us riding over the Colombière before finishing our tour on top of the iconic Col de Joux Plane. Stacked with Tour de France climbs, this is one epic week of riding.
Swiss Alps Discovery
August 1st – 7th

Where: Interlaken and Andermatt
Let us tell you a secret … the Swiss Alps feature some of the best cycling the world has to offer. Massive climbs, multiple cols above 2000m, perfect roads, snow walls, car free ascents, cobbled hairpins – the Swiss Alps Discovery tour has it all. We ride the mighty Grimselpass – riding past alpine lakes and glaciers. We also climb the car free Grosse Scheidegg – cycling in the shadow of the Eiger. As a crescendo we take on the best loop in the alps: the Furka, Nufenen and the cobbled San Gotthard passes.

UCI World Championships Haute Savoie, France
August 18th – September 3rd 2027

The Haute-Savoie 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships will take place in France from August 24 to September 5, 2027. This massive mega-event unites 20 different UCI World Championships across various disciplines into a single 13-day program spanning 16 venues in Haute-Savoie.
Join us for a few days or for the entire event – we’ll have daily rides in the region as well as ensuring we go to watch the big races, be they road, time trial, or mountain biking. We will also be supporting riders taking part in the UCI WC Gran Fondo on the 22nd August.
Mont Ventoux Discovery
September 15th – 20th
