Cyclotour du Léman Sportive

A supportive four days preparing for and then riding the classic Cyclotour du Leman sportive. Lausanne is a beautiful Swiss lakeside city and we'll stay just a few minutes walk from the Olympic museum down by the water in Ouchy. 

You will be fully looked after both on and off the road, with our ratio of 1 guide to every 6 riders, plus the support team who drive the van each day with nutrition and spare clothing in case of bad weather. 

You will ride the roads of the recent Tour de France Femmes, as well as checking out the route of the start and finish of the sportive before the event itself. We will also explore the ancient Lavaux vineyards and the quiet roads of the Vaud plateau. 

All in all, this is the perfect few days for those who want to experience perfect Swiss roads and ride a wonderfully friendly (and mostly flat) sportive around Western Europe's biggest lake. 

We stay in a four-star hotel right on the lakefront in Lausanne. There is secure parking for bikes and a great breakfast buffet. 

The city's metro system is a minute's walk away which whisks you up and into the city centre for exploring and checking out some of the excellent restaurants and bars.  

If you've always wanted to do a long distance sportive, but are maybe not ready for tackling major alpine climbs, then this event is perfect for you. 

The ride around Lake Geneva is mostly flat, with only 890 vertical metres of climbing in the 176 kilometres. 

You'll also get to ride some of the spectacular Swiss tarmac while exploring the Lavaux vineyards and the countryside surrounding the city.

We stay in Lausanne for the duration of this tour. The smallest of Switzerland’s four main cities is easily accessible: by road (A1/E25 and A9/E27 motorways), by rail (CFF network, EC Direct and TGV from Paris and Milan), by air (60 km from Geneva International Airport, in 45 minutes by car or by train) and even by water, thanks to the boats operated by the Compagnie Générale de Navigation on Lake Geneva. We can arrange transfers for you from Geneva airport or can advise on how to travel by train from the airport directly to Lausanne. We will collect you from Lausanne train station on your arrival.
