After your lunchtime arrival at the hotel (get in touch for help with arranging transfers) we’ll put the bikes together (if needed) and head out on an orientation ride to check bikes (and legs) are working well.

It will also give you the opportunity to ride on some of the famous cobbles ahead of the race tomorrow.

In the evening we’ll sit down together for dinner and hand out the race packs that the team collected for you earlier in the day.

The waiting is over. Today you take on the sectors, the dust, and the history of the Hell of the North. Here is everything you need to know about your start times, transfers, and the big finish.

Whether you are riding the full epic from Busigny or rolling out straight from Roubaix, timing is everything today.

• Long Route Riders (Busigny Start 170km): The official transfer departs from Roubaix at 4:30am. The departure point is a short drive or ride from our hotel and the transfer to Busigny takes approximately 90 minutes. You’ll roll out on a continuous start window between 07:00 and 08:00 to begin the epic trek back to Roubaix.
• Medium Route (145km) & Short Route (70km): No early morning bus required! The start line is an easy short spin from the hotel gates.

  • 145km “Legend” Route: Start window is open from 07:00 to 08:30.
  • 70km “Discovery” Route: Start window is open from 09:00 to 10:30.

All routes culminate in the ultimate cycling rite of passage: a glorious lap around the banked concrete of the legendary Roubaix Velodrome.

With both the elite women’s and men’s professional races taking place back-to-back on Sunday, Saturday’s challenge route is entirely yours to savor.

Be sure to take an extra few minutes on your ride to absorb the history at Arenberg, snap photos at Carrefour de l’Arbre, and truly soak up the atmosphere. Ride hard, pace yourself, and we will see you on the inside of the track for an ice-cold drink (or a hot coffee depending on the weather)!

There are two options today for watching the races. 

You can enjoy a leisurely morning and recover from the efforts of the day before. Watch the races on TV from the hotel or from the numerous bars and cafes around Roubaix before heading to the Velodrome track centre to see the finish of both races. 

The other option is to take a self-guided ride out to the Carrefour de l’Arbre to see the pros tackle this legendary cobbled sector.  This option of course means you won’t be able to see the finish in the velodrome – but seeing the pro’s hit the cobbles at top speed is really quite the experience.

Following breakfast we will say our goodbyes with fantastic (bumpy) memories of an unforgettable weekend in northern France.  Again, transfers can be arranged.
